
Albaluna define their music through a mixture of sounds from all around the world. Mostly influenced by the medieval and traditional European music, Albaluna it is all about a journey through every music measure. The band is composed by 6 musicians from several musical areas which promote a fusion of sounds based on folk music. Therefore, each instrument gives Albaluna music a new interpretation of world music.
In 2010, Albaluna released its first edited musical work, “D’Antes”, which all the production was carried out by the band members. “D’Antes” was inspired in the traditional repertoire of Iberian music.
In 2012, the second Albaluna release toke place in Óbidos Medieval Market in Portugal, the single of success, “Marca Antiga”. This work consists in original songs composed by Albaluna’s head man Ruben Monteiro e co-produced with Albaluna’s producer Tiago Gomes in TeaR Studios, Portugal.


During the last years, Albaluna have been present in many music festivals, medieval markets and street and stage performances all over Portugal. Albaluna have also been considered as “show of the day” by th BalconyTV International with the latest single “Anascer”.
In 2016 Albaluna had released the most recent album "Nau dos Corvos" (Ship of Crows) wich was presented in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Germany.
